Happy Tuesday, readers! I am back in business after an A-MAZ-ING weekend with four of my favorite people. I took them to all my favorite spots here in Tulsa, and they were pleasantly surprised by this city’s incredibly laid back and dynamic offerings. We ate at The Tavern, enjoyed cocktails at a new bar here called Valkyrie that offers prohibition era libations, and went to several of my favorite thrifting spots. We spent the majority of the weekend at my favorite Tulsa spot, my porch =).
It was a blast. I miss them so much already! But now it’s back to work. I spent a few hours last night looking for design inspirations for some future projects, and I settled on a few that I am really excited about.
I have been wanting to make this string map for some time now. My Tulsa home needs a little Texas in it. Photo c/o Pinterest.
I love the idea of upcycling old Scrabble pieces into something useful. Now that we have Words with Friends, my poor scrabble board rarely gets used. Photo c/o Design Sponge.
This is a homemade pop-up pixellated card. I am always looking for ideas for DIY greeting cards! Photo c/o Instructables.
I can’t wait to get started on all of these projects! I have a long day of work, so check back tomorrow for an update.
