If two things are for certain, they are that I am terrible at any form of math and that I love potted plants. These two facts made for an interesting re acquaintance with my inability to work with straight lines. I was having 10th grade geometry flashbacks on par with a Vietnam Veteran.

Like those Veterans, however, I dredged through the muddy waters, and faced my enemy. With tape, of course.

Tape is my best friend. Especially the Frog Tape, which looks like this:

I prefer it over regular painter’s tape because it adheres a little better than its blue cousin. And when I say “a little” , I mean it, as you can see from the photo above, paint leakage will and, usually does, happen.
This was a really easy, cathartic, sitting-on-the-porch-on-Sunday kind of project. I took a little time, but it was worth it.

A little rough around the edges, but by design. I like.
