Seriously, who doesn’t love a photobooth?? The lighting is bright and flattering, you can take multiple shots with lots of different people and most of all, it’s a blast! “Photobooth Style” photography is a big part of my business here in Tulsa, mainly since this particular style is in high demand for parties and wedding receptions. Above are a couple of photos from the Holiday Inspired Photobooth I set up for Connor and my Holiday Cards that we sent out this past year, as well as a super fun 20’s era themed birth party photobooth that I did in October.

This weekend I am setting up a booth at the Spring Carnival of Arts & Crafts, and I could not be more excited! The craft show is being held at The Church Studio, an aptly named church-turned-venue in the heart of downtown Tulsa. This will be a great opportunity to meet some of Tulsa’s local artists and to shake the hands of some folks in need of a local photographer. I have been gathering some ideas for a fun spring-inspired theme for my booth. I have already started on a couple of props – it’s so easy to get carried away with all of the creative possibilities of a photobooth! Here are a few ideas:

Of course, some bunting will happen. I bought some fabric last night that I am super excited about.

I already have the materials to make these chalkboard thought/quote bubbles, too. I will be busy this week!

I need to find a few paper parasols and some fun glasses and mustaches on a stick and I will be good to go! I will add an update on how the DIY photobooth is going this week, but will be pretty preoccupied otherwise, so please excuse my little break from the Bunny. I promise to be back in full force soon! The month of May is already busy (trip to Alaska coming up, big 30th birthday party to plan for Connor, and another wedding photobooth gig!), so I will do my best to share little bits of the craziness with you!
