09“Living creatively” is a phrase that you likely hear a lot these days. We live in a time when endless amounts of resources are available to us and where we can share virtually every thought and idea. We are the DIY Generation, and a lot of amazing, innovative things have come from our time.
We also live in a time where we have to be mindful of our budgets – economics will tell you that most of us are in generally the same boat. While we can’t all afford to purchase incredibly extravagant houses and things to fill them, it doesn’t mean we have to compromise our style.
To some, home design might seem trivial, but to me, it’s all part of a bigger picture. Curating my home to look and feel like home, to make it something I am proud of and feel comfortable in, is a task I don’t take lightly. I want my home to be a welcoming and nurturing environment for anyone who steps into it. I want it to be a place that makes me happy.
Of course, as I change, so does my style. Which is why I started this blog, to chronicle that ever evolving style and to be resourceful doing it.
